Fig Immerse Studio Design Choices
Fig Immerse Studio is a website aimed at small businesses that need a clear and professional digital presence in the Niagara region of Canada. Its main objective is to guide users through initial mentorship, present services transparently, assess needs, and ultimately help businesses by designing and developing their websites and establishing a social media presence through account creation, organic social media management, and advertising campaigns.
The design follows a clean and modern style to convey clarity, professionalism, and ease of use. It is dynamic and approachable, aligned with usability and web design recommendations, as well as W3C guidelines on writing and content structure.
Typography and Color Palette
I chose two sans-serif typefaces, each with its six variations. For headlines, I used Inter because its slight narrowness makes it useful for saving space in very long headings. For paragraphs, I used Poppins because it is a slightly wider typeface that offers good visibility in longer texts. Regarding color, I wanted to select a color harmony that would provide the high contrast necessary for a website design. I usually like to work with color harmonies, which are colors that are next to each other on the color wheel, as they offer more visual relaxation compared to color contrast, which is basically choosing colors opposite each other. The tones chosen for the website’s color harmony are lilacs: a light shade for the background; a vibrant lilac for the contrast when hovering over buttons; a coral pink as the primary color; and desaturated dark blues and greens for text and other elements requiring high contrast, such as the header and footer.

Structure:
The structure prioritizes navigation and respects spacing to avoid visual overload and issues with touchscreens in mobile versions. The content is distributed with a mobile-first approach, organized into clear blocks that guide the user to the main action: Get Started, More Information, Contact Us.
Among the implemented features are contact forms created in WordPress and ALT text for all images.
Finally, all images in the multimedia gallery are created or edited using Canva’s AI, ensuring consistent graphic style across all photos and optimizing the size and weight of each image.
